Enjoy a Variety of Fluffy Gelato in the Fruit Kingdom
This is an introduction to the gelato shop located within the JA facility, Yotteke Popora, along National Route 48 connecting Sendai and Higashineshi in Yamagata.
There were over 15 types of gelato, mainly featuring seasonal fruits. You might get confused with choices like watermelon, plum, and La France.
The gelato is fluffy, freshly made, and melts easily, but you can enjoy its smooth texture.
Being operated by the JA of the Fruit Kingdom, the flavors are fresh and rich. The portion is generous at only 350 yen, making it a great deal.
Sizes available are single, half double, and double, with the double allowing you to choose two different flavors.
Next door, there is a crepe shop, and within the facility, you can also buy fruits and vegetables.
Across from the facility, there is a large kids' park with plenty of attractions like a fluffy dome, athletic equipment, and fountains, making it a fun place to spend the day.
It's also an area rich in hot springs, so it seems enjoyable even for an overnight stay. The location is inconvenient without a car.
