If you want to eat Doraemon's dorayaki, this is the place!

2026/08/25

Located near Shinjuku Station, this sweet café on the first floor of Odakyu West Exit HALC is open year-round from 11:00 to 20:00 (irregular holidays).

It is surprisingly rare for a sweet café to be open late, and they also offer meal options like ozouni, miso zouni, and Sanuki udon, making it easy to stop by even with friends who are not fond of sweets.

When I visited, there was a flag with 'Ice' hanging outside, so I wondered if they offered kakigori (shaved ice). Upon sitting down and looking at the menu, they did have kakigori.
They had fresh yuzu syrup recommended with a photo, so it seems like fresh yuzu syrup is a recommended item.

This shop is said to be the model for Doraemon's dorayaki, as it was frequently visited by the manga artist Fujiko F. Fujio.
Recommended for those who want to eat Doraemon's dorayaki.

Founded in 1948 (Showa 23), it is a historic café with a calm atmosphere.
Dorayaki comes in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes.
You can purchase one piece for takeout at the takeout corner on the right side of the shop, but you can only order fresh cream dorayaki for dine-in.
The combination of red bean paste and fresh cream is delicious.
The surface of the dorayaki had the imprint of 'Tokiya'.
When I ordered coffee and a fresh cream dorayaki (tax included 1150 yen), I asked if I could also order iced coffee, and they said, 'We can do hot coffee, Americano, and iced.'
They asked if I needed gum syrup and milk when serving, and they provided two pieces of gum syrup.
When I visited around 12:30 on a Sunday, there were only two groups ahead of me, but by after 13:00, about five groups of customers had increased, so it might get crowded after lunch.
The space between tables was wide, allowing for a relaxed experience.
