Kyanmizaki / Tower of Peace🕊️

2026/04/23

Kyanmizaki is a cape with cliffs rising 10 to 20 meters high, marking the boundary between the Pacific Ocean and the East China Sea🏝️

On top of the cliffs, there are lighthouses and observation decks, allowing visitors to enjoy the view of the nationally designated scenic spot and natural monument "Kyanmi Coast and Arasaki Coast" and the vast blue ocean✨👀

The coastline in the southern part of the main island, including Kyanmizaki, was the site of the last fierce battles of the Okinawa War, and the surrounding area is designated as Okinawa War Relics National Park.

At the tip of the cape, there is also a memorial monument "Tower of Peace" established in 1969 (Showa 44), and after learning about the history of the Okinawa War, visiting Kyanmizaki will give you a different impression🕊️
