I visited the Nagasaki champon restaurant Kōran located on Rokuten Street near Sasebo Station.

It was a little past noon, but it was about 80% full.

I ordered the basic champon.

After waiting about 10 minutes.

The soup was gentle but had a solid flavor, and the noodles were thick.

There were a lot of bean sprouts. There were 2 shrimp, and a decent amount of pork, but there was only one piece of squid, which was a bit disappointing. (I love squid.)

I finished it in no time.

If you're hungry, a large serving might be good, I thought.
