Morning Ramen 'Raamenya Zentsuuji' - The Best Iriko Broth.
Kagawa, and specifically Kanonji, is famous for 'iriko'.
Therefore, there are several ramen shops in the western region of Kagawa that use iriko.
Among them, there's 'Zentsuuji Raamenya' which opens at 6 AM!
It's located right in front of the head temple Zentsuuji, next to Snack Himawari.

I entered just after 1 PM today, but it was full! Just as I arrived, some customers left, so I was able to get in.
Only about 10 people can fit inside.
You purchase a meal ticket at the vending machine inside and hand it to the staff to place your order. Cash only.
This time, I went for the standard 'raamen'. If you take a yellow ticket, you can get a small rice for free with each bowl of raamen.
After handing over the meal ticket, it was served in just a few minutes.
Even though it looks so clear, the flavor is rich yet light!
The iriko broth was well-executed and incredibly delicious.
Indeed, I could see myself eating this even in the morning.
The chashu was also generous with 5 slices, and while it was filling on its own, those who want more can purchase additional 'wakame', 'ajitama', or 'chashu'.
The broth was so tasty that I wanted to eat more noodles, but there were no extra noodles available.
