On my trip, I was introduced to this famous restaurant by a local friend. It was past 1 PM, but there was quite a line.

I ordered the ankake yakisoba and a half-size gyoza.

The flavor is soy sauce-based with a spicy touch. Maybe it's pepper. There's nothing particularly special about it, but it's just delicious. It's not overly sweet.
The soft medium-thick noodles are slightly burnt in places. They are cooked without much mixing. That's the basics of yakisoba.
With plenty of onions, the umami is rich, and the crunchy menma adds to it.
I also ordered gyoza on the side and ate one. This is also just delicious.
