It evokes Vincent van Gogh's famous painting "Café Terrace at Night," with its warm lights and charming atmosphere. "FUTAHOME" is a community activity hub established in February of the 7th year of Reiwa, led by the private sector.
The name embodies the hope that it will be a place where people can casually gather and new connections are formed, much like "Futaba Town (FUTABA) Home (HOME)." At the same time, it carries the aspiration of taking a "second step" into the future, inheriting the journey of the "Small Steps Project" that has been nurtured in the community.
On the first floor, restaurants operate on a rotating basis, and with the start of evening operations, it has become a beloved place for residents to converse and relax. In the western space, you can also enjoy fragrant coffee.
On the second floor, Tohoku University and Fukushima University are located, advancing research on town development with an eye on the future of Futaba Town, and there is also a chiropractic service.
"FUTAHOME," marked by its blue wall, warmly welcomes visitors. It is a new hub for connecting people, communities, and the future.
