
Ubagatake Shrine is said to have been established in the late Sengoku period to enshrine the ancestral Ubagatake Great Serpent. It houses the Eleven-faced Kannon statue and the Maitreya statue, designated as important cultural properties of Aomori Prefecture (created by the artist Gihō).
